Landon Cox Scores Senior Honda Victory at New Smyrna QMA
NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. (June 9, 2026) – Landon Cox turned in another impressive performance at New Smyrna Quarter Midget Racing Association on June 6th, for the Dixie Shootout Series, showcasing speed across multiple divisions.
Cox raced to the win in Senior Honda, highlighting a day that featured front-running pace in every class he entered. While the final results only tell part of the story, the young driver consistently battled at or near the front throughout the event.
In Lt. World Formula, Cox crossed the finish line seventh after leading early. He followed that effort with a third-place finish in Sr. Animal, overcoming an early-race incident to work his way back to the front before ultimately securing a podium result.
The Lt. 160 division saw another strong outing for Cox, who spent much of the race out front before rebounding to a fourth-place finish after an on-track incident reshuffled the running order.
The combination of a Senior Honda victory, a podium finish in Sr. Animal, and competitive performances in both Lt. World Formula and Lt. 160 showcased the speed and determination of the Landon Cox Racing team as they continue to build momentum during the 2026 season.
Up next, Landon and the team will head to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Youth Series on June 30th looking to carry that momentum into another busy weekend of racing.
