11-Year-Old Landon Cox Continues Dominant Run with Multiple A-Main Finishes and Third Straight NASCAR Youth Series National Win

CONCORD, N.C. (October 5, 2025) — Landon Cox, the 11-year-old racer from Monroe, Georgia, continued his breakout 2025 season with another standout performance at Charlotte Motor Speedway, highlighted by a flag-to-flag victory in Senior Animal during the NASCAR Youth Series presented by Cook Out National weekend.

Cox’s Charlotte triumph marks his third consecutive national win, following victories at Castle Rock Quarter Midget Association in Senior Animal and Richmond Raceway in Light World Formula. His Charlotte results further solidify his status as one of the most versatile and consistent young drivers in the country.

In addition to his Senior Animal victory, Cox recorded:

  • P3 – Light World Formula
  • P5 – Light 160
  • P9 – Senior Honda
  • P9 – Mod

The Charlotte event was also a personal milestone: it was the first time Landon qualified all five of his cars into the A-Mains—locking four directly through his heat races.

“This weekend was really special,” said Cox. “Winning from the pole in Senior Animal and leading every lap felt awesome, but putting all five of my cars into the A-Mains for the first time was just as exciting. It shows how far we’ve come as a team. I can’t thank my family, crew, and sponsors enough for helping make it happen.”

Across the last three NASCAR Youth Series Nationals—Castle Rock, Richmond, and Charlotte—Cox has compiled an impressive stat line: 3 wins, 7 podiums, 8 top-fives, and 13 top-tens, proving that he’s a championship-caliber driver no matter the class or track type.

The Charlotte national, held October 2–5 as part of NASCAR’s Bank of America ROVAL 400 weekend, featured deep fields of the nation’s best quarter midget racers. Cox’s smooth driving and adaptability shined through across multiple divisions, earning him recognition as one of the series’ brightest rising talents.

“Every race teaches me something new,” Cox added. “We’ve had such a great run lately, and I’m just going to keep working hard, learning, and doing my best every time out.”
